MY MOVIES

Please note the massive variation in genre of one movie to the next, each requiring its own unique approach and technique in order to generate the final product. I did this as a personal challenge to myself and because I found tackling the task to be very enjoyable.

Spider-Man 3 Tribute - Extreme Quality (392 meg)
Spider-Man 3 Tribute - High Quality (284 meg)
Spider-Man 3 Tribute - Medium Quality (175 meg)

My Spider-Man 3 Tribute is being regarded by those who have watched it to be my best work to date. Which is a relief, because it took entirely too long to piece the thing together. By far my most complex video, given the amount of editing that went into the sound and clips to make the video into one cohesive product. All that works down to one concept, if I did my job right, you'll sit with a big fat grin on your face as you flow from one scene to the next without a care in the world and totally unaware of what I have really done.

As always, keep your ears and eyes alert to follow how the music picks up consistently with the action. My number 1 goal in this video, was that I really wanted to give you the feeling of being right there with Spidey as he sores between the buildings.

I hope you enjoy it, True Believers.

Fun Fact:
- Over 300gig was being used up by my hard drives due to this movie being created.

My Gears of War Tribute

A movie dedicated to the immensely popular, Gears of War, for the Xbox360. A fun variety of action, this Tribute represents another step in my long series of videos. My only regret, is that at this point, I did not have an HD capable capture card, so the resolution is 640x480. Being a perfectionist, I'd much rather have a minimum of 1024x768. This video is still a staple in my series and I am proud of the outcome. There are some styles and effects developed for this video which I think I will use a lot more in the future (such as the comic book style). Enjoy!

Call of Duty 2 (Right-Click and do Save-As)

Ah, the real kicking off of the call of duty series with me. I played the first one and it was fun, but Call of Duty 2 is what really took it to new heights. This one is a common fan favorite and features a lot of shots which got me banned for hacking from many a server :-p I still enjoy watching this video today.

Winning Eleven 9 Tribute (Right-Click and do Save-As)

My favorite soccer video that I have made to date. Filled with tons of memorable moments, great music and lots of action. Dynamic camera angles which I hope will pull you right into the action and tight gameplay make this a must to kick back and enjoy.

The Movies - Lights Out

A movie generated using Lionhead's game "The Movies". This video required over 50hours of work, and includes many cool features, such as:

1. The music track when our antagonist walks down the staircase, was composed and performed by none other than myself.

2. The thunderstorms which were also created by moi.

3. Massive amounts of editing, resulting in scenes never seen before through this tool.

The movie is a take off of corny horror movies and I hope will be quite entertaining to anyone watching.

My F.E.A.R. Tribute

This was one of my most ambitious videos to date and also demonstrates a pivotal point in my understanding of encoding and creating videos. I am very proud of this work and reception of this work has been very high.

Fun Fact:
It took me approximately 70hours to make this video.

My 3rd Urban Terror Tribute

The third and final movie of the series, my 3rd Urban Terror movie, represents another signifcant step in my understanding of making videos. You can notice the evolution from movie to movie, in both style and quality. At this point I had started to grasp system requirements and how they relate to the amount of data I stream to a person's PC per second.

Severon's Quest

My first non-game based movie, "Severon's Quest", is an artistic presentation, conveyed through music and thematic moments from movies I love. Piecing together the video clips to convey meaning and emotion was a fun challenge, resulting in one of my favorite movies to date.

My Burnout 2 Tribute

Having tackled directing first person video and the sports format of soccer, I decided to attack a new venue, racing. This video conveys a sense of speed, an element not as necessary in the two previous videos. To pick up on the themes of the music as well as keeping the movie entertaining while still conveying a sense of massive speed proved a new but exciting challenge.

My FIFA 2004 Tribute

Once again, as I improved with my 2nd Urban Terror video, the same is true of my second FIFA video. This video shows a dramatic improvement over the last, with vastly improved image quality, exciting camera direction and even more deliberate music synchronization. Note the variation of camera techniques used to convey feelings as well as to entertain.

As my experience with video making begins to develop, so does my interest in branching out into new challenges to improve my skillset. This video was derived from a soccer game called FIFA 2003. Although not as technically crisp as the FIFA 2004 movie, this video is not without its charms! I still enjoy seeing this movie today.

My 1st Urban Terror Tribute

My 1st Urban Terror movie and where all my movie making history begins. Although stylistically this video is similar to my more recent works, it is very interesting to see the vast improvement present in my newer movies.
